DISCOVERY TIME.

We all sat in a circle.  It was just like a camp fire the scouts have when they go away with Mrs. S.
Once the tents were up and the bandages practice over it was time to cook marshmallows......
over a small candle. Very carefully.

Meanwhile the girls were practicing putting on bandages.
Some had broken arms and needed to put them into slings.

Camping is so much fun!   There was a pack with all the things you would need to take into the bush with you if you were going hiking.  We had to decide which shoes we would wear.  I wonder how Jade will get on walking a long way in high heels?
Putting up the tents was a new experiences so many pieces to get in the right place! But at last it was up.
Iliili was concentrating so she could get her tent to stand up without a sag in the roof.

Inside the tent was like a wonderland as everything looked a different colour. The boys were soon right at home.

We made things to float and we used lego to make boats.  Some of them didn't float very well.

We made millions of bubbles..... some with straws and some with the egg beater.

Water play was one of our favourite Discovery times.

There were small rockets and really tall rockets.

We explored space and made space rockets so we could be astronauts.

On Monday afternoon, every second week we have Discovery time.
